Mullen Photosthe world through my lens

Hello everyone Im Patrick Mullen.

I consider myself a photographer when I got my first decent camera on the 9th of January of 2006. The camera was’nt a D SLR but had the option to change shutter speed, aperture, iso, and white balence.
Teaching myself I think helped me stay on the creative side. But also paying attention on photography books and tips that the pros have to offer. Photography has also opened up my eyes to more nature, music, art, and other photography. My main things I like to photograph are skateboarding, snowboarding, and nature. I have been skateboarding since 1996, snowboarding since 1998 so I find I know how to capture those sports very well. I want to be a well rounded photographer , I feel its a good thing to practice.

I recently got a Canon 40D a nice semi pro D SLR. I feel like I have way more control over the options to get the “right photo”. Thanks to my dad Bill Mullen that bought me such an amazing camera. THANK YOU

I hope to stay a photographer for the rest of my life.
