After a few times preparing for a cold night out camping Im going to test the hammock in cold weather conditions in the backyard.
Set up:
Hennessy Hammock
-50 military sleeping bag with bivy cover
Foam mat
Air mat
Emergency blanket.
Thermal pants
Thermal shirt
Two pairs of wool socks
Face mask
Hot Coffee and a snack.
If there is wind the wind chill will be way below -6 degrees

Woke up around 11:20 A.M. after a goodnights sleep and no cold spot.

Morning Time
‎11:23 A.M. What a good nights sleep. No cold spots!, back, hands, feet, and even my face stayed warm. The only thing is when you breathe and its cold frost developed around things the emergency blanket and the gore tex bivy cover had some frost. Next time I will make a way to have my breathe exit without gathering on anything. The things you learn through practicing and preparing.
